A range of blood tests can be taken by our experienced Doctors. They are sent to a laboratory in London which will promptly process the results for you.
Please note that the results of these bloods tests will be provided with reference ranges for each test. The Treatment Rooms doctors may comment on general health but cannot take responsibility for the interpretation of these bloods tests in the context of medical disease. Where relevant they will advise you to seek further medical advice.

Haematology Profile (Full Blood Count (FBC) and ESR)
A haematology profile is a test used to check your general health, including screening for anaemia or infection.
Anaemia Profile (FBC, ESR, Iron, Total Iron Binding Capacity, Ferritin, Vitamin B12, Folate)
Anaemia is caused by a reduction in the amount of haemoglobin in the body. Testing for the above will help uncover any potential causes.
Kidney Function Tests (Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Bicarbonate, Urea, Creatinine)
Kidney function tests provide a snapshot of how well your kidneys are working by measuring electrolyte levels in the blood.
Liver Function Tests (Bilirubin, ALT, AST, Total Protein, ALP, Albumin, Globulin, Gamma GT)
Liver function tests provide you with information on the health of your liver - an integral part of your body’s physiology.
Lipid/Cholesterol Profile (Triglycerides, Cholesterol, HDL and LDL Cholesterol, Non-HDL Cholesterol)
This profile provides you with the level of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ cholesterol in your body and can be used to calculate your risk of heart disease and stroke.
Sports/Performance Profile (FBC/ESR, Biochemistry Profile, Omega 3 and 6, Total Antioxidant Status, Ferritin, C-Reactive Protein, HDL/ LDL Cholesterol, Mineral screen, Vitamins B9, B12)
