Dr Vara’s background is in Acute Medicine and Surgery. He trained in Kings College Medical School and qualified with a Distinction in Pre-Clinical Sciences and a BSc in Pharmacology. He has worked in hospitals throughout London and took an active interest in all facets of patient care before setting up The Treatment Rooms London with his Co-Founder and long term best friend Dr Dilan Fernando, who he has known since the age of 16.
