Patient story 14
Norwood Scale: 2
Surgery: Follicular Unit Excision (FUE)
Number of Grafts: 609
This patient is health conscious and had started taking medications to prevent hair loss for his diagnosis of androgenic alopecia. However, he was keen to restore and treat his receded hairline by undergoing hair transplant surgery. His natural hair is thick and dense so planning surgery to blend newly implanted hairs into his existing hairline was important.
Extraction of 609 grafts for implantation into the frontal and temple hairlines to restore hair in areas that had receded. This was carried out using the FUE (follicular unit excision) technique.
